I've known Dave Atherton for over a decade now, and his amazing ability to make perfect bagpipes continually astounds me! This is also the reason I decided to become a dealer. I only sell reeds that I would use myself, and I will only sell bagpipes that I personally believe in and would play myself!
For the record I play a set of pipes that Dave made while he was at Kron's. It's a half silver Kron Heritage set. Dave still uses these bores in his pipes, along with the MacDougall ™ bores and the Glen bores.
