Here at HUSK REEDS, it's my desire to make quality reeds that my customers are 100% satisfied with. I pledge not to sell any reed that I would not be happy using myself. My tooling is top notch, and my methods are sound, but at times cane does not want to cooperate, and if this is the case with one of my reeds that has reached you the customer, then please, send it back. I will be happy to replace it at no cost to you. I want you to be happy with your Husk reed, and if you're not happy, I'm not happy.
To make consistently great reeds requires great tooling. In my reedmaking journey, I soon realized that of utmost importance was the use of the finest quality tooling I could find. This is the only way to insure a consistent reed.
All of my tooling has been painstakingly designed and crafted by the finest German toolmakers on the planet, thus insuring that every cut on every piece of bagpipe reed cane is the same. The only variable in my reeds is the cane itself, everything else is standardized.
